Final FIEA Assignment

 So I have been creating a style guide for a indie game that I will be working on over the next couple of months.  The picture above shows some thumbnails of environment explorations.

 Next I had the some experiments of the characters that would be in this world.  Here I decided to change the style to be more simplistic.  We wanted to have a style that would be in scope for the game.




Here is the final look that we want to go for the game.  So after making the concept I wanted to create a 3d test of the level.
Here is a screenshot of the level in Maya.  I took out the roots since it made it really strange for the composition.
Here are the elements in a different angle.  Since the game is a sidescroller and the camera will be on panning on the x axis, we didn't have to worry about the assets in other angles.

Concepting the Tengu Warrior

Thumbnailing a couple of ideas for this character(for a side scroller game).  I wanted this character to be mischievous and looked like he lived in the woods.  I chose B to take to the next level.
Here I tried to make some color variations.  I chose D because the cloths contrasted from the hay on his back.

Warb Derby | Jack Creation


Here I am thumb nailing the new character for the Jill's Garage.  At first I wanted her to have a missing leg that was replaced with a mechanized one.  The reason was to show that she was into customizing and creating mechanical things.  But then I started to experiment with a pet robot as you can see at the bottom.



Here is the finished concept of Jill and Jack.  Jack is supposed to be this pet robot that Jill made.  I tried to make his design like a pet dog. 



Here is the high poly model of Jack.  I will soon bake it down to a lower mesh and and some textures.
